FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between a print, an original, and a commission?
A print is a high-quality reproduction of one of my paintings, available in a few different formats (canvas, framed poster, postcard, and more). An original is the one-of-a-kind painting itself — there's only ever one. A commission is a brand new original painting, made just for you, based on a place or photo you send me.

How long does shipping take?
Prints are made to order, so please allow a few extra days for production before it ships. Once it ships, delivery typically takes 5–10 business days within the US. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

How does the commission process work?

  1. Send me a reference photo along with a few details about the space it'll live in
  2. I'll confirm size, price, and timeline with you before starting
  3. You'll get progress updates as the painting comes together
  4. Once finished, your original ships straight to your door, ready to hang

Commissions typically take 3–6 weeks depending on size and current queue. A deposit is required to begin.

What sizes are available?
Most prints come in small (8×10–11×14), medium (16×20), and large (18×24–24×36), depending on the format. Originals and commissions are priced individually based on size — reach out if you have a specific size in mind.

Can I get a print signed?
Signed and limited-edition prints are available on select pieces — check the product listing or reach out directly if you'd like a signed copy of a piece that isn't currently offered that way.

What is your return and refund policy?
Because each piece is made to order just for you, I'm unable to accept returns or exchanges for reasons like a change of mind, sizing regret, or color not matching expectations exactly. Please review size charts and product photos carefully before ordering, and feel free to email me with questions before you buy.

However, I want you to love what you receive. If your order arrives:

  • Damaged or defective
  • Misprinted (wrong image, size, or noticeably poor print quality)
  • Lost in transit

...please email kavaartco@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the issue, and I'll arrange a free replacement or refund.

Commissions: Since these are custom, one-of-a-kind pieces made specifically to your request, they are non-refundable once painting has begun. A deposit secures your spot in my queue, and I'll confirm all details (size, reference, price) with you before starting. If something feels off partway through, email me right away so I can adjust before it's finished.

Originals: Non-custom original paintings may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused and undamaged, at the buyer's cost of return shipping, since these are one-of-a-kind pieces representing significant time and materials.

How do I care for my canvas or framed print?
Keep it out of direct sunlight when possible to preserve color vibrancy, and avoid humid spaces like bathrooms. A soft, dry cloth is all you need to dust it off.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Kavaartco ships worldwide. International delivery times vary by location, typically taking a bit longer than domestic orders — you'll get tracking information as soon as your order ships so you can follow its progress.

Where can I see your process?
I share full paintings coming together — from blank canvas to finished piece — on YouTube and TikTok. It's the best way to see the detail and time that goes into each one.
